MOG — Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
MOG ("we," "the app") is a face-rating and self-improvement app for entertainment. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it. By using MOG you agree to this policy.
What we collect
- Photos you provide. When you scan, the photo you take or upload is sent to a third-party AI vision provider (Anthropic) to generate your rating. We do not store your photos on our servers, and they are not used to identify you.
- On-device data. Your scan history, settings, and preferences are stored locally on your device (not on our servers).
- We do not collect your name, contacts, location, or advertising identifier, and we do not track you across apps or websites.
How we use it
Solely to provide the app's functionality: producing your rating, roadmap, and coaching. Your rating is an AI estimate for entertainment and self-improvement — not a measurement or professional, medical, or psychological assessment.
Third parties
- Anthropic (Claude) — processes your photo to generate the analysis. Subject to Anthropic's privacy terms.
- RevenueCat & Apple — handle subscriptions and purchases. We never see your payment details.
Data retention & deletion
Local data stays on your device until you delete the app or use "Clear history"/"Delete account" in Profile, which removes your local data. Photos are processed transiently and not retained by us.
Children
MOG is rated 17+ and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date will change accordingly.
